Eco Mode helps improve fuel economy by adjusting the transmission shift schedule, idle speed and interactive deceleration fuel shut off. In models equipped with a V8 engine, Eco Mode also adjusts Fuel Saver cylinder deactivation. Automatically engaged upon vehicle start up, Eco Mode activates the available Quadra-Lift® air suspension system and lowers the Jeep® Grand Cherokee when the vehicle's speed exceeds 88 kph (55 mph). On 4WD models in 4H, the system alters the front-to-rear torque split to help increase fuel efficiency.
SELEC-TERRAIN® TRACTION CONTROL
Legendary Jeep® vehicle capability improves with the Selec-Terrain® traction control system, giving you five modes to tackle almost any condition including snow. Traction is also enhanced through the available Quadra-Trac II® or Quadra-Drive® II 4WD systems. The available Quadra-Lift® air suspension system features five height settings for optimum ride performance.
QUADRA-LIFT® AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM
This revolutionary system gives you ultimate control of your suspension by raising your vehicle to a maximum ground clearance of 272 mm (10.7 inches) which is 66 mm (2.6 inches) higher than normal ride height. You can also lower it 4 cm (1.6 inches) 38mm (1.5 inches) for easy entry, exit and loading. The system also raises the vehicle from back-to-front to help keep its headlights focused on the road.
CHOOSE AN AVAILABLE 4X4 SYSTEM
• Quadra-Trac II® offers all-speed traction control to help keep you on course. If wheel slippage occurs, torque can be routed to the axle with the most traction. Low-range helps provide rock-crawling prowess.• Quadra-Drive® II gives you excellent capability with its Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (ELSD), which transfers up to 100% of torque to the wheel(s), if needed, to help deliver year-round traction on wet or dry surfaces.
